
Successful marketing, according to Travel Oregon CEO Todd Davidson, has played a big role in the record numbers that Oregon’s tourism industry racked up last year. The latest figures, unveiled last month, show that in 2015, tourism spending in Oregon topped $10.6 billion, an increase of 4.7 percent over the prior year’s $10.3 billion. That’s slightly above the national average increase of 4.5 percent.
